Little Smithdown Road café where a £5.50 breakfast is 'heaven' .
Popular coffee shop and bar Nomad is a little slice of heaven on Smithdown Road - and they serve a truly tasty breakfast.
One particularly hot and stuffy morning, I ventured in for breakfast with my little dog in tow, and was immediately struck by the calming atmosphere. As soon as I stepped over the threshold, the horde of cars whizzing down Smithdown Road and chatter of strangers faded away. I opted for the Nomad Vegetarian Breakfast, which costs £5.50 for a small plate, or £8 for a large. I stuck with small and was pleasantly surprised it was still a generous portion.
