An air ambulance has landed at the scene of a serious crash on New Road between Guiseley andThe road is currently shut between Kirk Lane and Westfield Avenue with the crash understood to have happened near Morrisons Petrol Station. An air ambulance has been pictured landing at the scene and West Yorkshire Police have urged drivers to avoid the area.
Our traffic and travel partner, Inrix, reports: "A65 New Road in both directions closed, queueing traffic due to accident from Kirk Lane to Westfield Avenue."Accident occurred near the Morrisons Petrol Station." A spokesperson for WYP said: "Emergency services are currently in attendance at a serious road traffic collision on the A65 New Road, Guiseley. Motorists are asked to avoid the area as road closures are in place at this time.
