Officers have been spotted in City Square and White Hall
Worried Leeds shoppers have seen a police helicopter circling over the city centre, with multiple officers in and around theWest Yorkshire Police officers have also been spotted in the Leeds Waterfront area, around City Island, near Gotts Road and Whitehall Road. It's unclear why police are searching around the city centre.
Concerned residents have taken to social media, baffled by the increasing amoung of police units on the busy streets. A spokesperson for said: "Officers were deployed to the vicinity of Leeds train station this afternoon following a sighting of a wanted suspect.
