“The Race Equality Foundation has called for a number of measures to ease the impact of things like the cost of living on minoritised and impoverished communities – measures including maintaining the uplift in Universal Credit and the moratorium on evictions. These are more relevant than ever. When the dust settles at Number 10, we can only hope that the future prime minister has their priorities right and urgently addresses the real-life issues facing the British public.
