As expected, it's not pretty out there on the M6

It has not been said how long the lanes will be closed for, however, motorists are being warned to expect delays. This is in order to allow an overturned lorry to be removed from the embankment.Long delays Traffic report service Inrix has said: "Long delays and two lanes closed due to recovery work and earlier overturned Lorry on M6 Southbound from J34 A683 Bay Gateway to J33 A6 Preston Lancaster Road . Congestion to J35 . Travel time is around 50 minutes."The lanes were closed at 10.30am this morning to recovery the lorry. Traffic is still backed up now with the lanes still closed.
