Whilst there are no weather warnings currently in place forAccording to the Met Office rain is forecast for most of the day in Nottingham, with heavy rain from 2pm until 7pm this evening, and light rain to continue into the early hours of tomorrow morning.
It is currently expected that the south of England and coastal areas will be most impacted by the storm, with some reports of a tornado in the Jersey, which is part of the Channel Islands.
