Three lanes are currently closed on a stretch of the M60 nearThere is queuing traffic following the incident on the motorway, which occurred clockwise between junction 17 for Prestwich and junction 18 for the M66.
, however traffic monitoring platform Inrix reports that traffic is currently only able to pass in lane four.There is approximately around six miles of congestion up to junction 13, which is resulting in delays of around an hour. Traffic officers and traffic management are at the scene.Highways England has advised road users to expect disruption and allow extra time for their journeys.
