Breaking news this afternoon
A spokesperson for Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue said: "We are currently at a house fire on West Close, Keyworth. Fire engines from West Bridgford, East Leake, and London Road are in attendance, following a call at 12:50pm. Firefighters used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet, and a positive pressure ventilator fan to extinguish the fire, which is now out.
"One individual exited the property before crews arrived on scene, and was handed over to the care of East Midlands Ambulance Service. Crews visited nearby homes to offer safety advice, and fire engines will be leaving the scene shortly.
