Mo Salah and co are coming to Preston
Liverpool will play their final pre-season friendly before the Premier League season at Preston North End's Deepdale Stadium.
Rumours circulated last month that Liverpool were as many as four weeks behind in their plans to open in time for the visit of Bournemouth. However, the friendly at Deepdale is understood to have been in the pipeline for some time. The arrangement is not down to being off-track on the £80m Anfield Road development project.
North End begin their Championship campaign at Bristol City before hosting Sunderland a week later on August 12. However, North End have a Carabao Cup fixture against Salford City the day after Liverpool's final friendly.
