Klopp has recently likened Liverpool’s interest in Bellingham to a “five-year-old wanting a Ferrari”. “Whatever we need and want we try absolutely everything to get it but there are moments when you have to accept it’s not possible and step aside and do different stuff.”The journalist has told Liverpool’s supporters that they should not believe Klopp as they could benefit from having Slaven Stanic as a “middleman” in negotiations with Dortmund.
‘Slaven Stanic, a good friend of Jurgen Klopp’s, is now still working for the management of the Liverpool boss. And now he’s in talks to become the right-hand man of Sebastian Kehl, Dortmund’s sporting director, as sport coordinator. And he knows, of course, about the big interest of Klopp in Bellingham and could be a middleman to bring both sides together. So it’s not off the table.
