Fenway Sports Group, the owners of Liverpool FC, have continued to add to their sporting portfolio
Liverpool owners Fenway Sports Group have increased their interest in golf after inking a deal with the LPGA, the women’s professional tour.
FSM, the marketing and sales arm of FSG, have secured what has been described as a 'unique sales alliance' with the LPGA, something that will allow FSG to act on the LPGA’s behalf when attracting new business partners to the Tour and its players. FSG principal John Henry, in a press release, commented: “ Commissioner Marcoux Samaan has spoken about the need for infrastructure at the LPGA to help capitalise on the tremendous growth the sport is experiencing.
For the LPGA, the deal with FSG allows them access to a significant client roster and the potential to grow their business and bring on board new partners that may have previously been beyond them.
