Liverpool go into the September internationals unbeaten in their first four Premier League matches
Brad Friedel believes Liverpool can challenge Manchester City for the Premier League title this season.
Jurgen Klopp described the triumph as one of their best in recent memory, extending the unbeaten run this season to four games, following on from their dramatic win over Newcastle United. New arrivals, Szoboszlai and Alexis Mac Allister, have been among the standouts with Nunez establishing himself in Klopp's plans. Friedel, who enjoyed a spell at Anfield for three years, believes the German boss is establishing an "exciting" team to watch
"You saw on Sunday, Mac Allister did that very well and if they have another in Gravenberch they can swap and rotate in games, rather than in teams but within games and I think it’ll be exciting to watch."
