David Martindale believes his side's results in recent games shows their growth from similar fixtures last term
Livingston boss David Martindale believes their 1-1 draw away to Ross County is a sign that the Lions have grown since last season.
Kick-off had to be delayed by 15 minutes as the Livingston team bus broke down on the way from Aviemore, where they had been staying overnight. But that didn’t disrupt things too much as the Lions picked up a hard-earned point which leaves them sitting seventh in the Premiership table. Those two points are two more than they gained when Martindale says they produced better performances against the same opponents last year.
“The following week we absolutely battered Ross County at home and got beat 1-0. From a purely footballing perspective, that was one of our best performances of the season. I thought we were fantastic, but we ended up with no points.
