Beth McKay's 30-yard effort two minutes into injury-time ensured Livi picked up the points at Glasgow Women

Livingston Women's matchwinner Beth McKay says even she wasn't convinced her late long-range effort was going in until it hit the back of the net as her 30-yard injury-time strike ensured the Lionesses picked up a 2-1 away win over Glasgow Women on Sunday.

Glasgow keeper Khym Ramsay rushed forward to clear her lines only for the ball to land at McKay's feet 35 yards out. She set herself up perfectly with the first touch before launching a looping effort over Ramsay and a covering defender and into the net. "I was in shock. To win a game so late and in that manner, it felt a bit surreal. The keeper's somewhere around the edge of the box when she makes the clearance and when it's come to me, the first touch has set the ball up well for me and I thought why not? We were deep in injury-time so it was almost a sense of there being nothing to lose at that stage and it's gone in."
