Liz Truss vows to match UK spending on military support to Ukraine next year
The US is Britain's biggest individual trading partner and accounts for £1 in every £6 of UK trade.

It will mean the returning political conversation will have a diplomatic air - in its opening few hours at least - rather than an immediately intense domestic scrappiness.Supporting Ukraine was a key policy plank of the previous UK government led by Ms Truss's predecessor, Boris Johnson.MPs will return to Parliament onBusiness Secretary Jacob Rees-Mogg is expected to set out government's energy support package for businesses, but this is yet to be confirmed.
