The Utah Little League World Series player who suffered a head injury after falling from the top of a bunk bed in Williamsport is walking and talking post-surgery. The 12-year-old nicknamed “Tank” was able to drink & feed himself, according to his family.
By The Athletic StaffSnow Canyon Little League pitcher and outfielder Easton Oliverson, who underwent emergency surgery after suffering a head injury from falling from the top of a bunk bed at the Little League World Series dorm complex, has been moved from the intensive care unit and is showing signs of recovery.
“As of Tuesday afternoon, Little League officials spoke with Easton’s family and were pleased to hear that his medical team remains encouraged by his progress,” Little League Baseball . “At the request of his family, Little League International encourages all to join us in keeping the Snow Canyon Little League player and his family in our thoughts and prayers, as we wish for a full and complete recovery.”began Wednesday in Williamsport, Pa. Snow Canyon is the first team from Utah ever to make it to the event and is scheduled to play the winner of Southeast vs. New England on Friday.
