Lorraine Kelly has called out Thomas Markle and has called him a ‘silly, silly man’ for ignoring Meghan Markle’s calls.
The former actress has said she only found out her father would miss her wedding ‘through a tabloid’, whilefor apparently staging paparazzi shots before the Sussexes’ wedding in 2018.
‘He was a silly, silly man. He was stupid and he should have answered her calls,’ Lorraine said on her own ITV breakfast show. She added: ‘He’s not covered himself in glory, let’s be honest. But at the same, as soon as the engagement happened, that wee fella should’ve been scooped up, brought over here and protected.’When the reports first came out of her father staging paparazzi pictures, Meghan said that he initially denied doing so when she asked him about it on the phone.
