Sad news for all involved 😔
A 'lovely little' cob shop which was loved by locals has closed down after five years. Snap, in Chilwell Road, Beeston, specialised in lunchtime favourites of jacket potatoes, baguettes and sandwiches.
The shop closed on July 14. Other local businesses in the area are still thriving and include Totally Tapped, a local micropub.Paulette Barry, 48 lives in Beeston. Paulette said: “I have been into Snap a few times for a coffee, lovely little place. If I was ever to open a shop, Chilwell Road would be perfect; it’s a walk away from the town centre and right next to a tram stop.Retired Jean Lobbs, 66 lives in Chilwell. She said: “It’s a lovely shop run by Kim.
