Killer nurse Lucy Letby faces 24-hour surveillance in prison to amid fears she may attempt to take her own life, a jail official said.
“It would be very embarrassing if she kills herself before justice gets done. Prison officials may decide instead to check in on her every 10 minutes if she’s not deemed such a risk. During her trial, Letby was put behind bars alongside Rose West, who murdered nine girls in the 1970s and 1980s.
