Lucy Letby joins grim list of serial murderers after worst child-killing spree in modern age

The former nurse, who has denied committing the crimes, wept uncontrollably in the dock as some of the verdicts, which were given several days apart, were delivered

Prosecutor Nick Johnson KC described Letby actions as “persistent, calculated, cold-blooded” during the trial.

Joanna Dennehy murdered three men: Lukasz Slaboszewski, 31, Kevin Lee, 48, and John Chapman, 56, as well as attempting two other murders during a two-week period in 2013.
