Lucy Letby was convicted of seven murders
Lucy Letby will die behind bars after she was sentenced to spend the rest of her life in prison following the horrific murders of seven babies.
It was in fact after one of these trips that Mr Letby stayed overnight at his daughter's home in Westbourne Road, Chester. It was within walking distance of her work place, Countess of Chester Hospital's neonatal unit. A note they left her after her university revealed their pride, the Daily Express found, after they sent their local newspaper on December 1, 2011, an image of Letby wearing her mortarboard and graduate gown to the paper accompanied by the message: "LETBY Lucy BSc Hons in Child Nursing. We are so proud of you after all your hard work. Love Mum and Dad."
“I came here to uni and didn’t go back. They hate it and I feel guilty for staying here sometimes but it’s what I want.” Initially Letby lived in the on-site accommodation at Ash House before moving to a flat in Chester in April 2014.
