LucySpraggan praises Rylan for being 'pivotal' in her rapist getting convicted
Lucy Spraggan has heaped praise on Rylan Clark after his “pivotal” efforts helped ensure her attacker was jailed after she was raped during her stint on The X Factor in 2012.
In an appearance on ITV’s Lorraine on Wednesday, 26 July, Lucy spoke with guest host Christine Lampard about the ordeal. She said: "I'm learning more and more since I released the book, I'm actually learning more and more about the realities of what happened. People are telling me new bits of information here and there.
Later, Rylan went to check on Lucy to make sure she was okay and ensure the door was locked - meaning the porter then had to use a key card to enter the room, which meant he could be identified. Lucy's attacker was arrested and later jailed for 10 years in April 2013. According to MailOnline, he was sent back to India on January 30, 2017.
