Former winner of the Eurovision Song Contest Lulu has backed calls for next year's competition to be held in Glasgow.
It follows the news that the city has officially launched a bid to host the iconic music event. As Glasgow Live previously reported, the city council has confirmed that it has been working hard to secure hosting privileges.It was confirmed on Monday that the UK would officially host the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest. The competition was due to be held in Ukraine as they won the 2022 event, but the country declined amid its ongoing war with Russia.
