Geleneagles Hotel has been given the ‘Art of Hospitality’ award based on a vote by hundreds of top hoteliers and travel writers. It was also hailed for a 'sense of local pride and passion'.
One of Scotland's top hotels, which is less than an hour by car from Glasgow, has just been honoured for having the best service in the world.
A judging panel of top hoteliers, travel writers and season travellers dished out the gong. Each member of the global panel was asked to name the one hotel that offered them the single-best hospitality experience in the two-year voting window and the opulent Gleneagles, loved by the rich and famous, topped the list.
"It all adds up to an environment where people want to show off their region and devote their career to making the town’s hub the best possible version of itself."
