M&S removes plastic from its Christmas wrapping paper - but it's left shoppers divided

In a reply to Morgane, 28, the retailer said the extra 15cm should mean the same amount of usable wrap per roll as last year.One happier review read: "I was very pleased to see M&S had a Christmas eco-friendly range.spokeperson said: "We’re really proud that for the second year running our Christmas greeting cards, gift bags and wrapping paper are all plastic-free – and 100% recyclable.
"We’ve had fantastic feedback from customers and have carried out testing to make sure the labels on our wrapping paper rolls are easy to remove and do not cause damage."
