BREAKING: The M1 is blocked in Leeds
Road users leaving the M1 Southbound are advised to:At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto A639 and proceed along this road for approximately 1 mile to the roundabout with the A642.
At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto the A642 and proceed along this road for approximately 1 mile to the junction with the M62 Motorway Junction 30. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto the M62 Motorway Westbound and proceed along this road for approximately 2 miles to the junction with the M1 Motorway .Jaimie KayWest Yorkshire Police are in attendance and diversion routes have been put in place for motorists.
Diversions are in place for those leaving the M1 Southbound and those leaving the M621 Clockwwise at junction seven.National Highways say the event is expected to clear between 23:00 and 23:15 on 10 August 2022, normal traffic conditions should return at this time.Traffic has been stopped on the M1 Southbound due to a collision, National Highways has reported.
