Diversions were in place
Police and other emergency services were tasked to the scene of a collision on the M2 motorway on Tuesday afternoon.
The M2 was closed southbound at Junction 5 in Templepatrick and northbound at Sandyknowes roundabout. It followed a serious multi-vehicle crash in the area. Diversions were put in place, and drivers are advised to seek alternative routes for their journeys if possible. In an update from police, PSNI North Belfast said: "The M2 has now reopened in both directions following an earlier road traffic collision."
