M65 driver fled from police on deflated tyres after stinger used to stop stolen car
A driver who fled from police on deflated tyres after a stinger was used to stop him has been arrested.
Officers said the stolen car left the motorway at junction eight near Hapton and 'a stinger device was activated to try and bring it to a halt'. However the Golf continued travelling on deflated tyres before being boxed in by police vehicles.It eventually came to a stop at the junction of Blackburn Road and Shuttleworth Link Road in Padiham. .
