“Both of my parents are big music lovers. My grandparents used to live in Wales and I remember being in the car with my mom on these really long car journeys to see them. She’d put on the Dixie Chicks’ album,, and I just fell in love with it. I loved their songwriting and storytelling. I just thought it was so beautiful. I think that was really instilled in me from a young age.
"I'm a very visual person. Whenever you listen to their music, you can really see it and see what they're saying. That's something that I've always really wanted to do on my own art.”
