Firefighters are still on the scene after the fire broke out after 8.30pm last night.
Firefighters are continuing to fight a major blaze that broke out at a derelict Scots school last night.
Footage from the scene shows flames and smoke billowing from the building. Police reportedly locked down nearby roads. Inverclyde Council Labour group leader Stephen McCabe shared a video of the building being gutted by flames.
