A major road connecting Corby and Kettering will be closed for the next two weeks as North Northamptonshire Council's Highways team carries out maintenance.
The two miles of the A6003 between the A427 Corby Bypass and the Oakley Road roundabout will be closed from Monday, November 21 to Friday, December 2. This only applies to weekdays and the road will be open the weekend of November 26 and 27. North Northants Highways will be cutting back highway vegetation, refreshing lines, repairing potholes and clearing gullies. The road will be closed in both directions whilst work is underway.For the 10 days, the A6003 will be closed only between 9.30am and 3.30pm. The road will be open either side of these hours.
North Northants Highways reassured drivers that, "a diversion will be in place during our working hours and clearly signed."
