Tailbacks are already forming on the M4 eastbound carriageway around Newport after a vehicle burst into flames at around 7am, this morning, May 3.
According to Wales Online, the fire has been extinguished but two lanes are closed from junction 25 to junction 24, with severe congestion in the area. . Two of the three lanes along the motorway remain closed.Traffic Wales also advise that long delays from the fire are also impacting the A470 southbound carriageway between Pontypridd and Nantgarw.
