Dylan Lamb thought the pain he was suffering was just pulled a muscle before his devastating diagnosis
Dylan Lamb, 20, who studied international business at the University of Liverpool, was diagnosed with leukaemia after suffering from the pain in 2022. He initially thought he had just pulled a muscle but attended A&E after the pain became "unbearable."
A GoFundMe page was set up to raise funds to head to America for life-saving treatment but his friends confirmed he died on Saturday. His friend said: "He went in his sleep with his family by his side, having said his goodbyes to all of his friends the day before and I'm glad to tell you that he was still full of laughs and jokes.
Another tribute, posted on Facebook, reads: "Dylan you were one in a million. The strength and courage you have shown during your battle has been admirable and will go down in history. The treatment was going to cost more than £500,000 and the GoFundMe page is currently at £171,000. Dylan's mum, Kim, has been keeping his followers updated on his condition, earlier this month, she said the last few weeks had been "extremely difficult for Dylan."
