Staff rushed to the man's aid but he sadly couldn't be saved.
Emergency services were called to The Pipeworks health and leisure club on Metropole Lane at 7.55pm on Saturday evening and a 51-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.Read more: Family say five-year-old treated in unsafe Glasgow hospital room before she died
He told The Sun: "We can confirm that a 51-year-old member of our health club had a cardiac arrest whilst visiting our venue.
