A man is accused of raping a woman before later claiming to police he was a Good Samaritan who instead came to her aid.
The charge includes a claim that the woman was asleep and incapable of consent.
It is said he told two police officers that he had met the woman while she was walking in nearby High Street and was"concerned by her presence".Saye - who allegedly also gave a false name and date of birth - apparently then stated he walked her home.Saye denied the accusations via his legal team at a hearing at the High Court in Glasgow.Share
