BREAKING: Man admits killing dad-to-be on M6
A man has admitted causing the death of a driver in a crash on the M6 last month. John Frazer Yates, 28, of no fixed abode but from North Wales, was arrested following a three-vehicle crash.
The incident involved three vehicles, a black Peugeot 107, a Peugeot 307 and a white Volkswagen Scirocco driven by Yates. Sadly, the driver of the Peugeot 107, 41-year-old Christopher Smith from St Helens, died as a result of the injuries he sustained in the collision.In a statement, Cheshire Constabulary said: "Yates appeared at Chester Crown Court on Wednesday December 14th where he pleaded guilty to causing death by dangerous driving and failing to provide a specimen.
