Lewis Prince, 28, appeared in court today
A man has appeared at Blackpool Magistrates' Court charged with the attempted murder of a toddler in Blackpool.
Police were called to a house in Brun Grove on Wednesday December 7 where a two-year-old boy was found with head and neck injuries. He was taken to hospital but has since returned home. Lewis Prince, 28, of Browning Road, Swinton, was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, assault and driving offences. He appeared before Blackpool Magistrates' Court this morning .
Prince has not yet entered a plea to any of the charges he faces. Magistrates remanded him in custody and said the case was so serious it can only be dealt with in the Crown Court.
