A second man also appeared in court charged with conspiracy and and an attempt to defeat the ends of justice.
The 27-year-old died after her silver Vauxhall Vectra crashed with a Volkswagen Tiguan on New Carron Road at around 6.10pm on July 29. Andrew Gregorie, 27, who resides in London, appeared at Falkirk Sheriff Court today.
He was remanded in custody while the case was committed for further examination. A second man, named Steven Hornsby, also appeared in court. The pair are due to reappear in the dock within the next eight days. Meanwhile, Amy's heartbroken family said they were left 'devastated' following her death. Detective Chief Inspector Susan Balfour, of Police Scotland’s Major Investigation Team, said: “Our enquiries are ongoing to trace all the occupants of the Mercedes and I would ask anyone with information to get in touch.”
