Police patrols have been stepped up after the 'concerning incident'
The first attack happened near the Cheadle Royal Business Park at around 8.40am today . A woman was assaulted, police said.
Another woman suffered minor injuries, while the other thankfully was left uninjured. Police patrols have now been stepped up after the 'concerning incident'. Chief Inspector Andrew Harty, from GMP’s Stockport district, said: "This is a concerning incident but I would like to thank our officers for the professionalism and speed in which they responded responded, as they worked quickly to prevent any further harm. Our officers are there to provide support and will be more than willing to chat to anyone – your neighbourhood officers are ultimately there to help you.
