A PSNI officer required hospital treatment after he was allegedly assaulted by a man in South Belfast.
Police say following a struggle with officers, one officer sustained an injury that required hospital treatment. A man aged in his 50s was subsequently arrested.A PSNI spokesperson explained: “Officers received and responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the Wildflower Way area shortly before 10.50pm.
“He began to struggle with officers, and as a result, one officer sustained an injury to this thumb, which required hospital treatment.
