The incidents took place two hours apart in different areas of the city this afternoon
Police have now confirmed that the two cases are linked and that a 38-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incidents.
spokesperson said: “A 38-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with two robberies in Glasgow on Monday, December 12."Around 3.45pm police were called to a report of a robbery at a Post Office on Dyke Road, Glasgow.“He is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Tuesday, December 13.”
