James Cuthbert, 26, was within a block of flats in Whiteinch on the morning of March 19, 2022.Officers handcuffed Cuthbert, and he was described as becoming “hostile”.
At Glasgow Sheriff Court last week, the prosecutor said: “On being placed in the rear of a police vehicle he began a tirade of abuse towards an officer, initially stating that he was a ‘P**i f**k’. “He continued his racist conduct. He was transferred to Govan police office where the racist conduct continued. The accused was not formally cautioned and charged due to his volatile behaviour.”
Cuthbert’s lawyer said: “It’s not a nice situation for the officer - that’s accepted by him. The situation is he is clearly a man who has difficulty with
