A man has been charged in connection with the attempted murder of a police officer in Glasgow.
The officer was assaulted at around 7.30am yesterday morning while carrying out enquiries at a property on Wyndford Drive.READ MORE:He is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, September 26.
A female officer also sustained minor injuries during the incident but she did not require medical attention.Superintendent Ross Allan, of Greater Glasgow Division, said:"This was a frightening ordeal for the officers involved but thankfully neither officer sustained any serious injuries.
