He was remanded in custody ahead of his next court appearance
A man has appeared in court accused of committing a robbery at a Subway restaurant in Wellingborough. Robert William Cridland, 24, was charged over an incident at the fast-food venue on Grafton Close on Monday afternoon .
Cridland, of Brampton Close, Wellingborough, appeared at Northampton Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday . As well as robbery he was charged with possession of a knife blade/sharp pointed article in a public place and possession of an offensive weapon in a private place. Cridland was remanded in custody ahead of his next appearance at Northampton Crown Court on September 26.
