Manchester City sit top of the WSL table with a international-star-studded roster, all 'exuding confidence'
Manchester City boss Gareth Taylor says Leicester City counterpart Willie Kirk has injected 'energy' and 'quality' into his side ahead of their Women's Super League fixture this weekend.
"We’re really pleased to be top of the league, we’re enjoying that moment," said Taylor. "We don't see it as a short-term thing we want to be there, we know how tough it is to remain at the top but we’re just taking it game by game. City take on a Leicester side who have started well having battled against the drop last season but Taylor is not surprised by the Foxes' progress.
"Lauren , Chloe Jess are all capable and Mary Fowler is going to run them close this season with the amount of chances she creates," added Taylor. "It’s exciting and we need that, we need variety in the front line.
