Multiple emergency services were called to the scene at Napier Place in Govan this morning at around 7.30am.A 56-year-old woman also suffered smoke inhalation and was treated by ambulance staff.A force spokesperson said: “Around 7.30 am on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, emergency services attended a report of fire at a flat in Napier Place, Govan, Glasgow.
“A 56-year-old woman was treated for smoke inhalation by SAS.The fire service confirmed that they had attended with three engines and one height vehicle.A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 6.53am on Wednesday, October 19 to reports of a fire at a property on Napier Place, Glasgow.“The fire was extinguished and crews left the scene at 8:35am.”
