Bradley Lowery's battle with cancer caught the hearts of fellow football fans in 2017.
A football fan has pleaded guilty to a public order offence after mocking the death of young cancer victim Bradley Lowery.
Dale Houghton, 31, and another man held up a picture of Bradley to the camera at Sheffield Wednesday’s Hillsborough Stadium when the side lost 3-0 to Sunderland on Friday.Bradley became a mascot for Sunderland after his battle with neuroblastoma captured the hearts of fellow fans. Following the incident, more than £11,000 has been raised for the Bradley Lowery Foundation, a charity set up in his name after his death.
