A man in his 30s is in a critical condition after being found lying unconscious on Main Street, Portglenone, in the early hours of Sunday
The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service alerted the PSNI of a report that a man was "lying unconscious" in the Main Street area of Portglenone, Co Antrim, just after 1am on October 30. Read more: Man dies after "serious" one vehicle crash in Co Down Detective Inspector Michael Hawthorne said: “We received a report at around 1.10am from the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service of a man lying unconscious on the footpath. He had sustained a head injury.
“A 41-year-old man has been arrested and is currently in custody assisting officers with their enquiries.
