Police are appealing for anyone with dash-cam or CCTV footage to come forward
Emergency services were called to the Suffolk Road, in the west of the city, late on Saturday evening, December 10, following reports of the collision.
On Sunday, police said the male pedestrian was taken to hospital for treatment for injuries which are believed to be serious at this time.Sergeant Tew said: “At around 11.50pm, we received a report of a pedestrian having been struck by a car in the area. Officers attended the scene along with our colleagues from the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service. The male pedestrian was taken to hospital for treatment for injuries which are believed to be serious at this time.
