A gun has been fired by police officers in Stonehaven, after armed officers locked down a street following reports of a 'disturbance'.
Police say that officers discharged a firearm during the incident and a taser was also deployed. Enquiries remain ongoing. Chief Superintendent Kate Stephen said: “Officers will be in the area as enquiries are carried out. I want to reassure the public that this was a contained incident and there is no ongoing threat to the public.
